CULLENVISION formed in September 2023 when a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon and his audiovisual project manager son decided to tackle a technological medical challenge

That challenge is to drastically enhance visual acuity for surgeons

Since then they have successfully created a proof-of-concept prototype system and received backing from UKRI

They are now working in collaboration with a Dutch industrial design firm who are in the late stages of delivering a pilot unit

Debut is tentatively booked for medical conferences from October 2025
