A Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon based in Australia. Contributed over 250 open sternum cases annually to date. Surgical interests include; general adult cardiac surgery, hospital management and surgical teaching with emphasis on technical issues.

Audiovisual Project Manager based in the UK. Has completed major domestic and international audiovisual projects from design through to integration in the medical higher education sector.

“Audiovisual technology has come a long way in the last few years but there are still situations where off-the-shelf solutions do not meet user requirements. This is one such case.

Our aim is to create a bespoke AV solution to drastically enhance the visual capabilities of surgeons that cannot utilise endoscopes or bulky microscopes due to their specific surgical method.”
